Viafrancia Bianco fully embodies the essence of its philosophy, which aims to create a perfect symphony between native varieties (Grillo and Insolia) and international ones (Viognier), celebrating
the harmony of the terroir. The vineyards from which these grapes come are grown in soils with varying compositions,
ranging from medium-textured and loamy to clayey, located at an altitude ranging between 720 and 770 meters on the Pianetto Estate.
This altitude, combined with the diverse soils, contributes to the wine’s unique complexity and structure.
The vinification of Viafrancia Bianco
begins with a manual harvest of the grapes,
followed by a brief period of refrigeration. The grapes are then gently pressed at low temperatures in an oxygen-free environment to preserve their aromatic integrity.
Alcoholic fermentation takes place under controlled conditions, partly in steel tanks and partly in first- and second-use French oak barrels.
This choice allows for a perfect aromatic harmony and flavorful complexity, preserving the freshness and purity of the aromas. After fermentation, the wine ages on the fine lees for at least 9 months, enriching its flavor and texture.
Next comes the blending phase, where the best bases are selected to create the final blend, which is further refined in steel tanks for approximately 3 months before being bottled and left to rest in the bottle until it reaches perfect balance.
In the glass, Viafrancia Bianco displays a pale straw yellow color, tinged with greenish highlights that reflect the freshness of its terroir. On the nose, it reveals a complex and layered aromatic bouquet, with predominant floral notes of broom flower and orange blossom, distinguished by their intensity and freshness, providing an elegant sensory opening. Citrus accents, including citron and bergamot, add a pleasant liveliness to the aromatic profile, while subtle fruity nuances of mango and pink grapefruit add depth and richness to the composition.
This harmonious combination of aromas, balanced by a subtle balsamic note, offers a captivating and inviting olfactory experience, anticipating the complexity and elegance that characterize the wine on the palate. On the palate, Viafrancia Bianco reveals extraordinary freshness supported by a full and enveloping structure, as well as lively acidity and a pleasant savory finish. The floral and fruity notes reveal themselves elegantly, while a subtle balsamic note underscores the complexity of the bouquet.
The palate is remarkable, with a long and enveloping finish that leaves a lingering aftertaste of pink grapefruit and rosemary. Viafrancia Bianco represents a refined interpretation of the harmony between native and international varieties, highlighting the authenticity, beauty, and unmistakable flavor of our land.
With its aromatic complexity and extraordinary cleanliness on the palate, this wine enchants the senses and proves to be an excellent choice for those seeking an authentic and satisfying tasting.
